saw jane fonda doing what jane fonda does well. she was walking and an interviewer was walking beside her with a mic asking her questions. and it stuck me..man! she looks so much like her father. even the way she walks...like an up and down spiky graph...the way she holds her head and even the angle at which her neck was sticking out. surreal.

i suppose this isnt really that surreal being that she is his daughter and all...still..it was weird seeing her and thinking that its henry fonda looking a little different.

Bridgette Fonda always reminds me of Peter Fonda who always reminds me of Dennis Hopper *shudder*

Watching Candice Bergen on Boston Legal last night mouthing a # of arguments on animal rights that have been kicking around Mouthfuls for the last few weeks.

Do their writers troll this place for dialogue? I swear they plucked some lines right out of a couple of omnivorette posts.

NY Times on prison break

QUOTE
The husband, Randy Parker, to whom Ms. Parker returned after she and Mr. Dial were found, dismissed the account as a fabrication. Mr. Parker said he believed his wife’s account that she had been abducted and held against her will in fear of Mr. Dial’s underworld connections. Mr. Parker is now facility security operations director for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

This cuckolded husband is quite a fool. His wife leaves him for a convicted murdered who is in jail and 10 years later he takes her back when she claims she was held prisoner the whole time. Fear of underworld connections... lol tongue.gif

Phrase in today's news from California:

"Fox Newsperson Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former prosecutor and lingerie model."

That brought me up short. Talk about yer triple threat.

Because of a lack of hedgehogs? Blame the Germans, anyway.

FWIW two Canadian groundhogs, Wiarton Willie and Shubenacadie Sam, are both predicting early springs.

...and called him "randy". I'm so darn complex!

I met him once and he's pretty magnetic in person. You can't stop looking at him. You also want to whisper, "Dear, you've got to do something about that hair!", but I remained quiet and thanked him for suggesting to the world that two people in love might marry, no matter what their genders may be. It was a pretty exciting time here and it was because of him.

He is very magnetic in person, but he also manages to come across as some kind of really likable dufus. Fortunately, he has stopped using so much gel in his hair.

We have three cats: a standard-issue greige tiger (female), a mini tuxedo (female) and one very large and ancient black shorthair (male). They all go outside; when they want to come in, they appear in the window above my computer and stare intently at me with the universal feline Let Me In NOW face. Some movement caught my attention just now; I looked up to see a very large (and VERY handsome) long-haired orange tiger making the same appeal.

I don't do CNN. The story made local news radio here in NYC. Why, I have no idea. Maybe someone simply wanted to seize the opportunity to use "Fox Newsperson," "former prosecutor" and "lingerie model" in the same sentence.

This may be the most bizarre story I have ever read. A bizarre love triangle aboard the International Space Station....

QUOTE
An astronaut drove 900 miles and donned a disguise to confront a woman she believed was her rival for the affections of a space shuttle pilot, police said. She was arrested Monday and charged with attempted kidnapping and other counts.

U.S. Navy Capt. Lisa Nowak, 43, who flew last July on a shuttle mission to the international space station, was also charged with attempted vehicle burglary with battery, destruction of evidence and battery. She was denied bail and is scheduled to make a court appearance Tuesday.

Why does 'completely heterosexual' crack me up so much? laugh.gif

Because of the problems you find when trying to imagine "a little bit heterosexual," or "only partially homosexual," or "occasionally bisexual."
g.johnson
It reminds me elliptically of the Mao governments claim at one point that there was only a single homosexual in China (it being a bourgeois trait).
